Salisol® AB is a sunscreen agent composed of Avobenzone that provides UVA protection. This light tan, crystalline powder has a weak aroma and is insoluble in water, but soluble in hot methanol. It can be combined with UV-B filers for skin and sun care preparation. It can also be used for the formulation of protective hair care preparations. It protects products from photo-oxidation. This product can be used in personal care and cosmetic products with a dosage level of 1-2% in everyday skin products and 2-3% in sunscreen products. view less
