For example, KBM-974 signif icantly improves the flexural and tensile strengths of glass fiber composites, especially in applications involving long-term exposure to water and high humidity. KBM-974 improves the chemical bonding between inorganic fillers and organic resins and the adhesion of composites and organic polymers to inorganic surfaces. Diluted solutions of KBM-974 are useful primers for bonding organic materials to inorganic surfaces.
