It is composed of substances that have been allowed for use under 21 CFR § 175.105 (Adhesives), 175.300 (Resinous and polymeric coatings), and 176.200 (Defoaming agents used in coatings) of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations. Bubreak® 448 can be dispensed directly from shipping containers by chemical-metering pumps or suitable measuring containers. To prevent deterioration of the product, keep drum closed when not in use. Contamination with water or other extraneous materials should be avoided. For the best control of foam, Bubreak® 448 should be added as near to the point of foam formation as possible.
