It is bland in flavor with excellent stability for improved shelf life in many food products. Designed for use in whipped toppings, fluid and frozen coffee whiteners, imitation sour creams, dip bases, frozen desserts, cookie and biscuit fillers, and candy centers. In whipped toppings, it can be used as a base fat in conjunction with other fats depending on the finished characteristics desired. Can also be used as the only fat ingredient in whipped toppings and as such, imparts excellent body and stability coupled with good eating qualities. Because of its optimum SFC profile, the shortening remains a relatively high solid at lower temperatures which makes it desirable for non-dairy foods, filler fats, and candy centers.
