Astaxanthin Solution 1% is a water-soluble liquid preparation made of astaxanthin oil. Since astaxanthin is naturally oil-soluble, uses have been limited to soft capsules. By making a water-soluble preparation, astaxanthin may be included in drinks, jellies and other various food. This product is a dark red liquid containing 1% astaxanthin. Astaxanthin Solution 1% is heat and acid resistant.
Astaxanthin is a type of carotenoids, which are natural red colorants mainly included in seafood such as salmon, salmon roe, shrimp, crabs and in a type of algae called haematococcus.
