Aqualon™ CMC-7MF has a viscosity of 400-800, a concentration of 2, and a spindle number of 2. This product is a cellulose gum, or sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) that is widely used as an economical thickener and stabilizer in foods and beverages. Besides modifying the behavior of water, cellulose gum is useful in suspending solids and modifying the flow and texture. Aqualon™ CMC-7MF has the ability to form strong, oil-resistant films.
