Safflower Oil - High Linoleic

Safflower Oil - High Linoleic is an expeller pressed from the seeds of the safflower plant, Carthamus tinctorius. This variety of safflower oil is especially high in linoleic acid content, a polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acid, at levels typically over 70% which is desired for intake to support human health and reduce various risks. After the extraction and refining process, the yielding oil carries a clear honey appearance with a neutral aroma and flavor profile. High linoleic safflower oil may have a lower smoke point than regular safflower oil, making it a preferred option in lower heat preparations such as in baking applications or recipes for sauces, marinades, and dressings. Due to a high linoleic acid content, this safflower oil displays effective moisturizing properties without weighing down the skin and protects against environment factors such as UV ray damage, air pollutants, and free radical activity, often included in topical creams, serums, and makeup items.
