BioEstolide™ 1300-100

BioEstolide™ 1300-100 part of Biosynthetic® Technologies that produces a line of sustainable, biobased, biodegradable oils derived from castor. These high-performing emollients offer enhanced oxidative, hydrolytic, thermal, and UV stability for long shelf life of formulations. BioEstolide™ 1300-100has a low acid value (<1.0 mg KOH/g), high dynamic viscosity (1300 cPs at 25oC), and high refractive index (1.474) with an NOI of 1.0 (ISO 16128). It is 100% biobased. The product readily disperses mineral and plant-based pigments for stable sun care products and color cosmetics. It is water-resistant (80 minutes) and provides emollience with ample playtime, spreading and cushion with long lasting moisturization in skincare formulations. It is heat resistant and can improve shine in haircare products. It can be used to thicken personal care formulations. The product is Kosher, Vegan and Halal certified and can be used as petrolatum. lanolin, or medium to high viscosity silicone alternative.
