Glycerine, a plant-derived ingredient, is used as a humectant and/or moisturizer for cosmetics, creams and lotions, toners, oral care, toothpaste, mouthwash, and bar and liquid soap. Glycerine has emollient properties in concentrations under 50% and can significantly soften dry, dehydrated skin. It can positively impact the skin barrier by sealing moisture into the skin and giving it a temporary plumping effect. It is a vegetable-based (from Palm Oil or Palm Kernel Oil) USP Kosher Grade glycerine. This product has numerous certifications, including RSPO, SAFE, BRC, and GFSI. With all the major cosmetic producers announcing their intention to use only RSPO-certified Palm Oil by 2013, it is becoming a critical requirement. view less
