Glycerine, a plant-derived ingredient, is used as a humectant and/or moisturizer for cosmetics, creams and lotions, toners, oral care, toothpaste, mouthwash, and bar and liquid soap. Glycerine has emollient properties in concentrations under 50% and can significantly soften dry, dehydrated skin. It can positively impact the skin barrier by sealing moisture into the skin and giving it a temporary plumping effect. It is a vegetable-based (from Palm Oil or Palm Kernel Oil) USP Kosher Grade glycerine. This product has numerous certifications, including RSPO, SAFE, BRC, and GFSI. Norfox® 1101 can be used as a base for natural personal care products, specifically liquid hand soaps. Soaps such as Norfox® 1101 have also been used as a base for formulating insecticidal soap and plant wash.
