Tixogel IDP

Tixogel IDP mastergel, a combination of Isododecane (and) Polyethylene Homopolymer, can provide stable, predictable, reproducible thixotropic viscosity and pigment suspension in a myriad of cosmetic formulation types. It can be easily incorporated into the manufacturing cycle with medium shear dispersion equipment. Tixogel IDP is a thixotropic gellant that also can impart water repellency, increase the wear time, add lubricity and emolliency, and can help increase the SPF of formulations. Due to the high melting point of the polyethylene, it can impart high temperature stability. The gel can also be used to aid suspension of pigments and other

non-soluble particulates.
