Quinoa Grain is a white raw quinoa seed which is grown in Colombia and Ecuador. It comes mainly from the piartal variety, which is naturally low in saponin. The saponin is removed in a cleaning process that delivers a grain with better organoleptic properties (superior taste). Kosher certified, the product is ideal to consume in salads and cold or hot dishes.
Company
Factoria Quinoa works with quinua from the seed until the sale of the final product (Quinoasure or Quinoa Grain). Quinoa is a nutritional powerhouse originally cultivated by the South American natives across the Andean region. It is the only vegetable nutriment which possesses all essential amino acids that the human beings need. There are many varieties but you can lump them into three categories: black, red and white quinoa.
