NataPres® GS is created by combining Lactobacillus Ferment with and aqueous extract of macerated Vitis vinifera grapes. The fermentation product is then filtered and blended with an aqueous extract of Vitis vinifera. This makes a 100% natural preservative that can be used for the majority of personal care applications. This natural preservation is effective on products from pH 3-8. It is an effective paraben replacement and formaldehyde replacement. It also will not crash viscosity making it a suitable glycol replacement. This extract is sustainably sourced and supplied in water without additional solvents and is suitable for all water-containing home and personal care formulations.
The liquid extract provides ease of use in formulating and manufacturing. It is gentle and non-irritating in use and is therefore suitable for hypoallergenic products and products for use on sensitive skin. It imparts enhanced mildness in cleansing applications and has broad compatibility with many personal care ingredients. This product has exceptional formulating latitude. It should be added when the formulation is below 50°C.
