DOWSIL™ FZ-2233 is an ABn silicone polyether block copolymer, non-diluted material. Its primary function is to produce water-in-silicone and water-in-silicone and oil emulsions with a creamy and rich appearance but leaving a light, non-greasy after feel on the skin. The addition level can be as low as 1% leaving a lot of flexibility for the oil phase composition. The emulsions have also a small particle size resulting in highly stable emulsions at elevated temperatures but also through several freeze thaw cycles. view less

PERFORMA V™ 6112 POLYMER is an excellent film former that provides superior water resistance in color cosmetics and sunscreens. It can be easily neutralized in situ to aid the emulsification of actives, boost SPF and improve star ratings. Its highly branched structure gives high shine in anhydrous systems, binds oil, acts crystal modifier for crystalline polymers/waxes, pour point depressant, and light/non-greasy aesthetics. The property of acid functionality makes it an anionic emulsifier when neutralized, water resistant film former, dispersible in water and stable in low pH systems and shows high gloss. The property of a low melt point makes it easy to formulate. It also acts as an s oil thickening and rheology modifier which enhances SPF makes it an oil phase stabilizer and boosts UVA/UVB star ratings. view less
