Busperse® 229 is an organic dispersant designed to minimize the problems of blistering and adhesion loss and at the same time act as a pigment dispersant and wetting agent. The effectiveness of Busperse® 229 is attributed to its ability to allow better wetting of the substrate by the binder, reducing moisture permeability of the paint film. This product should be added with water prior to the addition of wetting agents and pigments. The pigment slurry should be dispersed at high speed, cooled and let down with the water-reducible alkyd binder. view less
