Bubreak 401 can be used in waste minimization programs for water-based paints, adhesives, or similar water-based systems. A 10% (by weight) solution of Bubreak 401 should be made prior to application of this product. This product is readily soluble in water and this reduction allows the polymer to “unwind” to provide better flocculating properties. Use levels of this solution will vary from .01% to 2.0%, based on weight of the material to be treated. view less

It can be used in applications requiring a cationic polyelectrolyte, including influent and effluent clarification, sludge thickening, lime softening, and sludge dewatering. Bufloc® 590 is a water-in-oil emulsion that must be diluted with water before use. This product should be made down to a dilution of 0.2%–1.0% prior to feeding using a suitable polymer make-down system. Dilutions of polymers should be used within 24 hours of inversion. The recommended feedrate for Bufloc® 590 for clarification applications is 0.25–5.0 ppm. Sludge dewatering applications may require much higher dosages. view less
