RightFiber™ Polydextrose Type I

RightFiber™ Polydextrose Type I is a white to cream colored powder that is odorless and slightly acidic. It is very soluble and has a pH between 3 to 4.5. It comes from the indigestible portions of plants. It is readily fermented in the colon into gases and physiologically active byproducts. They selectively stimulate the growth of one or a limited number of bacteria in the colon, and thus improve host health. Soluble fibers can help lower blood cholesterol and manage glucose levels. It is commonly used as a supplement and is ingested in powder form or mixed into either food or drinks.
