UL and the Natural Products Association (NPA) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Dietary Supplements Program

UL has joined forces with the Natural Products Association, the nation’s largest trade organization representing natural products, to create a Good Manufacturing Practices Certification Program open to any manufacturer, packager, or distribution center in the dietary supplements industry.

UL’s consumer products team works with retailers and manufacturers to develop comprehensive and safe food sourcing programs, monitor and assess product quality and safety throughout the manufacturing process, help ensure regulatory compliance, and substantiate claims and product acceptance by target markets. Services to the food and beverage industry include risk assessment, testing, sensory evaluation, and many others.
