It is an aqueous dispersion of 1, 2- benzisothiazolin- 3-one (BIT) and zinc-2-pyridine-thiol-1-oxide (ZnPt). Proxel® BZ Plus Preservative benefits from the use of these two complementary active agents, with differing modes of action making it particularly effective in preserving industrial products against spoilage caused by bacteria, yeasts and mold (fungi). Proxel® BZ Plus Preservative is pH and temperature stable and easily incorporated into a wide range of industrial products.
