LYNDCOAT is a ready to use, silicone based, high mica content release coating for butyl rubber bladders typically used in tire curing presses. It is an aqueous system that cures during the tire vulcanization process to a tightly bound coating that offers excellent release properties and lubricity. In addition, the product promotes air bleed and reduces defects caused by trapped air and buckled bladders. LYNDCOAT BR 1110 RTU replaces conventional lining cements and solvent based band ply lubricants, eliminating the flammability and toxicityproblems associated with these kinds of products. LYNDCOAT BR 1110 RTU is easy to use and is recommended for a single release application. It can be brushed, swabbed or sprayed onto the rubber surface. For maximum release and bladder life, the use of a durable bladder pre-treatment, such as LYNDCOAT BR 2101 RTU, is highly recommended.
