Offers chemical-, scratch-, oxidation resistance, and temperature resistance over 1000°C for prolonged time. It can function as stand-alone resin at a layer thickness of 0.5 to 2 µm to form a durable finish that can be easy to clean. It bonds to substrates such as steel, aluminum, glass, and old coating layers. It can be used as conversion coating replacing Cr(VI).
