CAVAMAX® W8 PHARMA has a specific rotation of 174.0-180.0°, a water content of max. 11.0%, and a content (on dry basis) of min. 98.0-102.0%. It is a pharmaceutical grade gamma-cyclodextrin, with 8 glucose units has the largest cavity of the parentcyclodextrins and is the most water soluble. It is useful for solubilizing, stabilizing or delivering larger molecules; e.g. steroids, macrocyclics, oils, lipids, etc. This product is ideally used in hair care, shaving, sun care, sunscreens, and formulations for pharmaceuticals.
