RonaCare® MAP is a stable vitamin C derivative that is used for its antioxidant, anti-aging, and skin lightening properties.
The skin lightening action of RonaCare® MAP is based on its inhibitory effect on melanogenesis through tyrosinase inhibition. More specifically, it acts as a reducing agent on melanin intermediates, thus blocking the oxidative chain reaction at various points of the melanogenetic pathway.
