LANXESS offers several high purity grades, all of which are nature identical to the benzaldehyde found in almonds, peaches, cherries, and apricots. Kalama® Benzaldehyde FCC grade is a highly valued, food-grade, GRAS (21 CFR §182.60) flavor ingredient. it is often used as a building block in the synthesis of fragrances such as rose and jasmine, used in soaps and perfumes. LANXESS’s leadership position for benzaldehyde and dual production locations (in the U.S. and Europe) allow us to set the standards for quality, reliability, and security of supply. LANXESS’s manufacturing process also uses oxidation technology, ensuring that Kalama® Benzaldehyde does not contain chlorine residuals (low-chlorine or chlorine-free benzaldehyde), in contrast to many competitive benzaldehyde offerings. It is produced using the highest standards for quality and sustainability, including ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. Emerald Kalama Chemical was acquired by LANXESS in 2021. verkürzen
