Kalama® Benzaldehyde FCC is known for its uniquely sweet character and notes of cherry and almond. LANXESS offers several high purity grades, all of which are nature identical to the benzaldehyde found in almonds, peaches, cherries, and apricots. Kalama® Benzaldehyde FCC grade is a highly valued, food-grade, GRAS (21 CFR §182.60) flavor ingredient. it is often used as a building block in the synthesis of fragrances such as rose and jasmine, used in soaps and perfumes.
