Bayhydrol® UH 2606 is a solvent-free anionic polyurethane dispersion containing polycarbonate that is used as a binder for the formulation of water-reducible coatings for plastic substrates and wood materials. This product has an Efflux time at 23°C (4mmcup) of 12-60, a non-volatile content (1g / 1h / 125°C) of 34-36, and a pH value of 7-9.
The product was designed specifically for the coating of plastic substrates. In addition the use in the formulation of PVC floor coatings, the binder exhibits a high grade property profile on a variety of substrates. Filler and topcoat applications (one and two-component) are also plausible. Other possibilities are wood and furniture applications. Bayhydrol UH 2606 yields coatings with good leveling, chemical and weather stabilities. They are also characterized by a tough but flexible property profile. Very good combinations are possible with polyester, polyurethane and acrylic dispersions, and combinations with waterborne UV systems are possible. Resistances can also be improved by post-curing with e.g. Bayhydur®. The mixing ratio of mill base to hardener is generally 10:1.

Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
Easily see which Lists this item appears in, and quickly go to that List from the links that appear on the page.
