Especially usable for white pigmented coatings with high pigment content and resistance properties. This product has a non-volatile content (1g / 1h / 125°C, convection oven) of 39.0-42.0, a viscosity at 23°C of < 150, and a pH level of approx. 7.0-9.0. Bayhydrol® UV XP 2775 is used for the formulation of high quality waterborne UV coatings for furniture.Depending on the formulation and the method of application, it is possible to produce finished surfaces that conform to the resistance requirements of DIN 68861, 1B. Bayhydrol® UV XP 2775 is especially usable for white pigmented coatings with high pigment content and resistance properties. After evaporation of water, the coating is physically dry and tack-free. view less

It is an emulsion type with high gloss and strong body. This product has a non-volatile content (1g / 1h / 125°C, convection oven) of 46.0-51.0, a viscosity at 23°C of 50-500, and a ph-value of 6.8-8.5. Bayhydrol® UV XP 2687 is used for the formulation of waterborne UV coatings, especially for application on wood/wood materials. As the dispersion has a relatively high surface tension, the formulation should always contain a wetting agent, such as BYK® 348 (BYK), Surfinol MD 20 (Airproducts) or EFKA 3024 (BASF).Viscosity is set by the addition of polyurethane thickeners. Matting agents should be added in the form of pastes. view less
Bayhydrol® UV XP 2690 Covestro (formerly Bayer MaterialScience) 科思创 Bayhydrol® UV XP 2690 is a UV-curing PU-dispersion that is used for the formulation of waterborne UV coatings for wood and plastic coatings. This product has a non-volatile content (1g / 1h / 125°C, convection oven) of 38-40, a viscosity at 23°C of < 80, and a pH level of approx. 7.5-9. For the formulation of weather resistant coatings, the use of light protecting agents (preferably a combination of UV absorbers and hindered amine light stabilizers) is recommended. A modification of the photoinitiator component towards longer absorbing types (MAPO, BAPO) might be necessary. The resulting formulation should always be tested in weathering experiments with regard to the specific substrate, application and curing conditions. view less

As a thermoformable product, it is an ideal solution for postformable coatings. This product has a non-volatile content (1g / 1h / 125°C, convection oven) of 39-41, a flow time at 23°C, (4 mm cup) of 15-50, and a pH level of 7.0-9.0. Bayhydrol® UV 2720/1 XP is used for the formulation of waterborne UV coatings, in particular for applications that require good blocking resistance after water evaporation and before UV cure (wood, plastic, pigmented systems). The addition of 1.0 to 2.5 wt. photoinitiator relative to binder has proven effective for initiation. Viscosity is adjusted by the addition of polyurethane thickeners. As the dispersion has a relatively high surface tension, the formulation should always contain a wetting agent, such as BYK® 348 (BYK). Matting agents and additives can be dispersed directly into the formulation using a dissolver. view less

Main applications of this product are plastic coatings (e.g mobile phones) and wood coatings. Before UV curing, the surface of dried films is soft and slightly tacky, whereas after UV-curing, the coatings are hard with high chemical and mechanical resistance. The product is suitable to achieve high gloss coatings. This product has a non-volatile content (1g / 1h / 125°C, convection oven) of 40.0-44.0, a flow time at 23°C, (4 mm cup) of 15.0-50.0, and a pH level of 7.0-8.5. This product is especially suitable for 3C plastic applications e.g. mobile phones and laptops where high performance coatings are required. It is possible to formulate hard high gloss or deep matt clear coats as well as single layer metallic coatings. The resulting coating provides excellent performance meeting the strict requirements of 3C applications. view less
