It is a non-refractive grade that is used in protective coating systems. It maintains a higher level of in-can stability. It is recommended for water- & solvent-based epoxies, epoxy esters, polyurethanes, polyurethane dispersions, and acrylics. The dosage level is 5-10% based on the total formula weight. Synergistic properties have been found [in the areas of corrosion and humidity resistance] when HALOX® SW-111 is used in combination with HALOX® Zinc phosphate [1:1 ratio] in some waterborne systems.
