Kappa Semi-Refined Carrageenan

Kappa Semi-Refined Carrageenan is a fine yellow powder and has no smell or taste. It is extracted from the Eucheuma cottonii family of natural red seaweed and mainly consists of the potassium salts of polysaccharide sulphate esters. Kappa Semi-Refined Carrageenan is mainly used in the food and beverage industry for its gelling, thickening, and stabilizing properties. It can be used in a number of products, such as desserts, beers, carbonated beverages, meat dishes, and many other desired applications.
