GELYOL® P.C. 25 is a marine agent prepared from the red alga Lithothamnium calcareum known as maerl. It acts as an efficient marine mineral energizer, controls the skin electrolyte balance and increases osmotic exchanges while stimulating skin vitality and energy. The specific composition of GELYOL® P.C. 25 is very interesting for cosmetic applications. Because to its mineral composition, it offers many advantages (control of skin electrolyte balance and moisture levels for keeping good homeostasis and preventing dehydration, regulation of cellular turnover for a more even-toned complexion, increase of osmotic exchanges, support of skin’ barrier function for avoiding infection and protection against reactive oxygen species for boosting natural defences.
