This powder-type Fullerene-based ingredient is for make-up cosmetics such as cake foundation or loose powder to achieve Fullerene’s anti-oxidant/anti-aging property. Suppression of sebum oxidation has been shown as clinical trial with Veil Fullerene™N. It inhibits lipid oxidation seeing from peroxide value and acid value using 10% artificial sebum.

Fullerene on its own is insoluble in water and thus not an ideal ingredient for personal care applications.
