Butyl Paraben (Saligin BP)

Saligin BP is a preservative made of Butyl Paraben that is highly effective in preventing the growth of fungi and bacteria. This white or almost white crystalline powder is very slightly soluble in water and freely soluble in alcohol and in methanol. It can be used in leave-on and rinse-off products like shampoos, creams, lotions, face wash, and shower gels.
