Deoxyarbutin is a tyrosinase inhibitor, which can restrain melanin synthesis, overcome the pigmentation, and diminish the dark spots to get rapid and lasting lightening effect. Compared with other lightening active agents, deoxyarbutin is more effective to inhibit tyrosinase significantly. Small quantities of deoxyarbutin can demonstrate whitening and lightening effect. It also has strong antioxidation properties.
