Lexol® MB GT-865 MB is a triglyceride of a controlled blend of medium chain length (C8C10) fatty acids with the Caprylic (C8) Acid fraction predominating. It is a highly refined liquid emollient, having solvent properties, excellent stability, and unexcelled emolliency. This product does not contain any animal based raw materials. Lexol® GT-865 MB is a luxurious emollient with special appeal to the cosmetic formulator. It finds a wide use in creams and lotions where it not only functions as an emollient but also enhances emulsion stability. Its low viscosity, freezing point, and cloud point make it an ideal vehicle for bath oils and electric pre-shave lotions. It is also the emollient of choice in lipsticks and other make-up items. Additionally, Lexol® GT-865 MB is an outstanding solvent for perfume ingredients, particularly the crystalline materials, such as coumarin, heliotropine, and synthetic musks that form the basis of many fragrances used in cosmetics and toiletries. Lexol® GT-865 MB is produced using RSPO certified, mass balanced palm derivatives.
