A skin renewal cream emulsified by mild vegetable-derived, versatile emulsifier pair – Glucate™ SS and Glucamate™ SSE-20 emulsifiers. Combining these emulsifiers with fatty alcohols will increase the capability of forming liquid crystals which enhances emulsion stability as well as skin hydration and cosmetic actives delivery. Glucam™ E-20 humectant provides a non-tacky humectancy to the formulation while the combination of Schercemol™ DIS, 318 and CATC esters offers an elegant cascading light to lubricious emolliency. It contains a water-soluble, acid protease which imparts skin renewal properties. Optimizing the performance of this pH sensitive cosmetic active ingredient requires formulating at pH below 4.5 and maintaining this low pH during application. Carbopol® Ultrez 30 polymer offers viscosity and effective stabilization to this challenging system. This formulation can be used alone or in combination with the Skin Brightening Skin Gel with Lactic Acid S-SG0019(AP) which provides additional acid buffering action to this skin renewal cream and, when applied together, offers a surprising new sensory profile.
