Silasoma™ SP is an aqueous dispersion of encapsulated UV absorbers (60% as active component). This product is an average diameter of 2 micrometers microcapsule using amino acid as a wall material. And encapsulation eminently reduces penetration of UV absorbers into skin. It is suitable for sunscreen for sensitive skin or baby care. Encapsulating the UV absorbers provides a soft and light after-feel and allows for surfactant-free and safer sun protection formulations. Silasoma™ SP microcapsules contain Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate and Dimethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate. It is developed and manufactured in Japan by SEIWA KASEI. view less
