It is colorless, odorless, and formaldehyde free. This product is effective in a broad pH range and exhibits broad anti-microbial efficacy against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeast and mold. It also offers antistatic, deodorant, and good conditioning effect both for skin and hair. CPC has an excellent safety profile and is an effective alternative to traditional preservatives. It can be used as a multifunctional cationic additive for rinse-off and leave-on cosmetics and toiletries including skincare creams and lotions, antiperspirants and deodorants, hair care, sun-care, hand sanitizers, and color cosmetics as preservative booster, solubilizer, antistatic and conditioner. view less

Surfactant based shampoos, body washes, and hand soaps preserved with Freshstat™ alone may not be adequate enough to pass the microbial efficacy testing for Aspergillus brasiliensis.
