It is soluble in a number of different silicone fluids (low viscosity Dimethicone or Cyclopentasiloxane) and organic fluids up to concentrations of 50% or more. This silicone resin provides superior wash off resistance in a variety of cosmetic applications. It is easy to solubilize due to its larger particle size.
A pre-mixture of Specsil K-71 with your solvent of choice should be made until the Specsil K-71 is completely dissolved. Pre- mix should then be added to the oil phase of formulation. Recommended usage levels are 1-15% view less
