AURIST™ AGC conditioning biopolymer is a readily biodegradable cationic hair and skin conditioning polymer supplied in liquid form with applications in hair care, and skin and body wash applications. Testing shows that AURIST™ AGC can significantly improve wet and dry combability in haircare formulations, and suitable for use in sulfate-free shampoo formulations. In skin and body wash applications, it can significantly improve skin conditioning and rinsability. AURIST™ AGC conditioning biopolymer can form completely transparent formulations including with anionic ingredients, and does not require pH neutralization. It is cold processable, with no pre-mix required. When added to foaming pump package, it does not clog the nozzle. In light formulations (gel creams, serums, balancing treatment for young or oily skin), it imparts richness, softness and substantive (non aqueous) after-feel without the addition of oily compounds.
In rich formulations (anti-wrinkle creams, night creams, treatment for mature skin, anti-aging, sun care products), it increases the absorption sensation, and limits the undesirable stickiness associated with oily ingredients or sun filters.
