Aromastat™ contains no biocides or typical preservatives. Instead it uses multifunctional agents that have excellent efficacy as biostatic and fungistatic agents. It can be used as an alternative to traditional preservative blends that are seen as undesirable by the consumer. A special benefit of Aromastat™ is that it performs superbly at neutral pH, a state where many other alternative materials are ineffective. Aromastat™ is compatible with most cosmetic ingredients. However, it can interact with residual iron found in some clay-type compounds (e.g., bentonite, silicates, etc). This interaction with iron may produce a very mild orange color or color shift that is barely perceivable to the eye in most formulations. In cases where the clays are high in iron, the colored compounds may be more perceivable. Aromastat™ may be used in emulsion, anhydrous and surfactant systems. These include creams, lotions, shower gels, and make-up. It may be added to the water phase, at ambient or hot temperatures, or may be added post-emulsification of O/W emulsions. During formulation/compounding, lengthy exposure to elevated temperatures should be avoided. For example, when compounding at 90°C, exposure should be limited to two hours; when compounding at 60°C, exposure should be limited to six hours. Typical use level is 0.8% w/w to 1.2% w/w. view less

ClariSilk™ is an effective additive in sulfate-free shampoos providing substantial foaming, easy rinse-off and no build-up. ClariSilk™ is a polyesteramine – it has emolliency and gloss characteristic of a branched ester, and the cationic activity of an amine. It has novel aesthetics that are unlike the feel of any other polymeric conditioning agent. It is highly hydrophobic and lubricious. For hair conditioners, Emulsense™ is the primary active anti-static agent, enabling both excellent performance and all-natural claims. In skin care, it is an emulsifier with an entirely new sensory profile, providing a silky initial-feel, and a powdery after-feel that are unmatched. Its key characteristics are: 100% natural, ECOCERT approved, compliant with COSMOS, NaTrue, and NPA standards, petrochemical-free, palm-free, quat-free, readily biodegradable (OECD), non-toxic to Aquatic Organics (OECD), non-GMO, and no animal tests. Emulsense™ HC can be used as the primary anti-static agent and emulsifier in conditioner formulas. The active component is a cationic surfactant with predominantly C22 chains. Thus it has conditioning performance similar to classic behenyl quats used widely in personal care products. Emulsense™ HC has the following characteristics: 100% natural, ECOCERT approved, compliant with COSMOS, NaTrue, and NPA standards, petrochemical-free, palm-free, quat-free, readily biodegradable (OECD), non-toxic to Aquatic Organics (OECD), non-GMO, and no animal tests. Zeast...view more Zeastat™ is a complete system for preservative-free cosmetic and personal care products. Zeastat™ contains no biocides or typical preservatives. Instead it uses multifunctional agents that have excellent efficacy as biostatic and fungistatic agents. Zeastat™ is ideal for personal care products where a paraben-free or preservative-free claim is needed. It can be used as an alternative to traditional preservative blends that are seen as undesirable by the consumer. A special benefit of Zeastat™ is that it performs superbly at neutral pH, a state where many other fungistatic materials are ineffective. Zeastat™ is compatible with most cosmetic ingredients. However, it can interact with residual iron found in some clay-type compounds (e.g., bentonite, silicates, etc). This interaction with iron may produce a very mild orange color or color shift that is barely perceivable to the eye in most formulations. In cases where the clays are high in iron, the colored compounds may be more perceivable. Zeastat™ may be used in emulsion, anhydrous, and surfactant systems. These include creams, lotions, shower gels, and make-up. It may be added to the water phase, at ambient or hot temperatures, or may be added post-emulsification of O/W emulsions. view less
