HALOX® Z-PLEX 750

HALOX® Z-PLEX 750 by ICL is a hybrid corrosion inhibitor combining organic and inorganic inhibitor synergies. It offers improved humidity resistance and wet adhesion. It contains 80% less zinc compounds than traditional zinc phosphate with enhanced performance due to the addition of organic functionality. It is suitable for solvent-based epoxies, epoxy esters, short-, medium- & long oil alkyd, and polyesters. HALOX® Z-PLEX 750 is used in water-based epoxies, water-reducible alkyd, alkyd dispersions, and acrylics. It is designed for coatings and primers on metal surfaces to cost-effectively provide the traditional function of an inorganic corrosion inhibitor with the benefits of an organic corrosion inhibitor. It possesses excellent passivation, outstanding blister resistance, and enhanced barrier properties. Recommended dosage level is 3-7% based on total formulation weight. It has a shelf life of 36 months.
