Provided with remarkable tying and compacting effect on the perlite used in this kind of filtration, it allows a thinner and more precise cut of the coat, without slavering, achieving a perfect brightness of the filtered product. Even though it gives good results when used as a thin pre coat on the drum, it is mainly used to form the perlite layer by adding it to the mass to be filtered, in small percentages, together with the best perlites. So the draining power of the perlite coat is highly increased.
