Gelest Black Iron Oxide ML (Maximum Loading) is a black powder with Dimethicone PEG-3 Laurate that has the CI Number of 77499. ML surface treatments utilize a hydrophobic siloxane with an embedded polar segment that disrupts particle-particle interaction. The combination of alkyl and polyethylene glycol functional groups are balanced to maximize wetting in non-polar oils by lowering the viscosity and improving dispersion. Recommended applications include penicls, mascaras, liquid eye liners, lipstick, lip gloss and other color cosmetics.
