Virgin Prunus Oil is obtained through a first cold pressing of plum kernel almonds sustainably sourced in the south west of France. Virgin Prunus Oil is an upcycled cosmetic ingredient. VIRGIN PRUNUS OIL is 100% made in France. Virgin Prunus Oil is dry oil with a sweet natural fragrance (bitter almond) and provides a smooth and silky feeling to the skin. Virgin Prunus Oil is a natural alternative to "perfume" your cosmetics products or to claim "perfume-free". Virgin Prunus Oil is naturally rich in tocopherols (600 ppm) which confers an excellent antioxidant activity to this oil. It protects the skin from external aggression and is stable to oxidation (Rancimat test = 34h). This oil is also certified novel food, it can thus recommended for lip products. It is a preservative-free ingredient. Virgin Prunus Oil is approved by Ecocert Greenlife, according to the COSMOS Standard.
