Beeswax is naturally produced by honey bees (Apis mellifera) to build their honeycombs. It is used as a coating, glazing and sealing agent, texturant and emollient in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food industry. It is also a traditional raw material for candles. Purified and bleached beeswax (cera alba) as well as yellow beeswax (cera flava) is offered in blocks, granules a/o pastilles.
