Sabal serrulata lipohilic is a lipophilic extract out of berries of the dwarfish palm Sabal. The home of the family tree is the beaches of Florida up to Carolina. It’s high is at most 4 m with dark red to black berries which are very hard. The berries contain a high quantity of fatty acids like oleic acid, lauric acid and myristic acid. In addition there are phytosterols in free form and as esters of fatty acids (palmitate, myristate laurate) and as glucosides.
