(2005.01) STUDY CONCERNING THE USE OF HERBAL RAW MATERIALS IN THE COSMETIC INDUSTRY

SÖFW/SOFW makes their documentation available in the regions indicated below:

Herbal raw materials present important starting compounds for the cosmetic industry because oil seeds are used as basic substances and medicinal and aroma plants contribute to the aroma and cosmetic effect of cosmetic products. In spite of the undisputedly high importance of plant materials as basic substances in the cosmetic industry, inquiries indicated that no up-to-date surveys concerning the use of herbal raw materials cultivatable under domestic conditions are available.
