SeraSense SQ 40 is a medium viscosity quaternary ammonium silicone polymer. The permanent ammonium ion on this polymer enables it to provide targeted conditioning on damaged hair as well as coloured protection on dyed hair through electrostatic attraction to the hair cuticle. It is also designed for use in heat protective hair serums and other leave on products. It may also enhance hair strength. When used in conjunction with other silicone ingredients in skin and lip care formulations SeraSense SQ 40 imparts a pleasant, non-oily skin feel that is unique from other silicones. It is especially recommended for colour cosmetic products where long-lasting durable effects are required. The recommended usage levels vary according to application but 0.5 – 3% is a recommended starting point.

Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
