CosmeGreen ES1822+ is a 100% bio-based cationic surfactant system with superior smoothing, conditioning and detangling benefits. It is China Compliant, COSMOS and NATRUE approved. It is safe to handle, readily biodegradable and proven to perform. Use it as an alternative to BTAC, quats and other conventional agents to increase the sustainability of your personal care formulas without compromising performance. Developed using the principles of green chemistry, it has a very low environmental footprint (no solvent and no waste). It is dervied from natural, palm-free and sustainable raw materials (no competition with human food chain): using upcycled sugar beet and fatty alcohol from rapeseed. This surfactant outperforms synthetic alternatives with a much better eco-friendly profile: low ecotoxicity and readily biodegradable. It's non-irritating to the skin so unlike conventional cationic surfactants, it can be used in leave-in products as well.
