Cream Antiperspirant (Formulation #C1726)
Company:
Croda
Cream Antiperspirant (Formulation #C1726) is a formulation that features products supplied by Croda. The active components of most popular types of antiperspirant are astringent salts such as aluminium chlorohydrate. As solutions of such salts are acidic (approx pH3), it is necessary to employ an acid stable emulsifier in the production of creams and lotions.
In this formulation for an antiperspirant cream, Cithrol™ GMS A/S, an acid stable glyceryl monostearate, is used to confer maximum emulsion stability. Crodacol™ C90 is included as an emulsion stabiliser.
