ETHOXCARE® TDA-18 is a 100% active nonionic surfactant which is the polyethylene glycol ether of tridecyl alcohol with an average of 18 repeating units of ethylene glycol. ETHOXCARE® TDA-18 is of 100% synthetic origin and shows excellent rapid wetting properties, relatively low foaming levels, and good detergency. It is useful in a wide range of personal care products and cosmetics. Since it is completely saturated, it is very stable and has an HLB of about 15-17. ETHOXCARE® TDA-18 can be combined with other surfactants to achieve any required HLB.
